Vintage glass candy container in the form of an airplane. The wings are marked "Army Bomber 15-P-7". Excellent condition, except for a 1/8" flake on edge of the plane's tail. 4-1/4" x 4-3/8". 1940s.

This is a really nice Set of Four (4) Spode Christmas Tree 12 Ounce Straight Sided Double Old Fashioned Tumblers, with gold trim at the top, in the original box, made for Spode. These pretty Christmas Tumblers each measure 4 1/4 inches high X 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the top. All four of them are in excellent, unused condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches. This terrific little German composition candy container, circa 1920's, was made for Abraham Lincoln's birthday--representing the famous frontier log cabin in which he was born. I've never seen this container before and it's in terrific condition. The bottom is marked "Germany." 2-1/8 long; 1-1/2" deep; 1-9/16" tall. Excellent condition.

A terrific and very rare lithographed tin chocolate box, the lid decorated with "The Wheel of Fund and Frolic" Halloween game. The spinner points to various party tasks such as "Push a pickle across the floor with your nose" or "Sing a mammy song in black-face". Some of the tasks, like "Turn out the lights and have each girl kiss the boy nearest her" sound like a little more fun! The side of the tin is marked "Mrs. Sothern Home Made Sweets". Ca. 1930...

A steel cowbell hand-painted on one side with a detailed rendering of a living room with stockings hung above a roaring fireplace, a grandfather clock showing midnight, and a sleeping cat (or dog). “’Twas the night before Christmas.” the opening line of Clement Moore’s 1823 poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” is painted at the top...

Unopened package of 24 vintage Halloween crepe paper cocktail napkins. The smaller cocktail size is bit harder to find than the dinner size. The napkins feature a wonderful border of dancing skeletons, witches, owls, bats and black cats. The edges are scalloped. Circa late 1940s. Condition: excellent. Size: 9" x 9".

Excellent early embossed Halloween post card featuring a unusual comic scene of a man being frightened by a jack o'lantern snake. Marked "Copyright 109 by Julius Bien & Co, NY". Series 980. Very nice condition with just the slightest of rounding at corners. Unused.

Super vintage celluloid and chenille Easter rabbit decoration. This bunny is very colorful in his spiffy suit and his silver pipe. He is attached to his original chenille stick and makes a nice Easter decoration. Circa 1930. Size: rabbit only, 2-3/4" tall. Excellent condition; the tip of one foot has a small hole that appears to be a manufacturing flaw.

Vintage bisque Halloween black cat candy container. The bottom is marked "Made In Japan." Circa 1930. Condition: excellent.

A delightful vintage Halloween bisque figure in the form of a broom-carrying witch and her black cat. Items such as this were used as table decorations, but it’s also possible that they were filled with small candies through the hole in the bottom, then sealed with paper and given as party favors. The witch, with her pasty complexion, gaping mouth, and crossed eyes really looks more like a space alien than a traditional witch...

A 1930's Santa Clause figurine with a composition face and boots, a cotton batting beard, a felt jacket, and a cotton toy bag and pants. He stands on a mica-covered paperboard base. Unmarked, but definitely pre-war Japanese. Some of the Japanese Santas have rather fearsome faces, but this one is quite jolly. At 7" tall, he's also a bit larger than most.
