Wonderful vintage children's Christmas storybook, "Jolly Santa Claus". The cover is printed in full color with a depiction of Santa arriving wiht a decorated tree and a load of toys. The interior has another full-color plate depicting Santa driving his team of reindeer toward his castle at the North Pole. Nearly every page has a black-and-white illustration. Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." Very nice condition, some scratching where metal clappers hit against pan Circa 1940s. 7-7/8" long.
A delightful German Christmas candy container in the shape of a lemon. The container is made from composition then painted and finished with a coat of wax to add a realistic soft sheen. The interior of the pull-out base is marked "Germany."

Fabulous papier-mache Easter candy container in the form of a duck. This fellow has real feathers on his wings, one of which opens on a spring hinge to get at the candy. The bill is wooden and the eyes are glass. It's got everything but the quack! Unmarked, but undoubtedly German. There is a slight amount of the damage to the webbing on the feet and the feathers are a bit ruffled, but otherwise he's in very nice condition. 8.25" tall; 7.5" beak to tail. Circa 1930's

Beautiful Lladro Christmas porcelain bell, handmade and hand-decorated in 1989- Spain. Adorned with angels dancing through the sky. This bell is in perfect condition but has no box. Matte finish. Approximately 3" tall and 3" in diameter.
Outstanding antique German snowman Christmas candy container. We've had many vintage Christmas candy containers, but never this design. The entire papier-mache container is covered with red and white chenille. The snowman straddles the container, making a sort of basket handle. His black eyes are glass and his nose is composition. The inside of the basket is marked "Germany."
Very nice embossed Halloween post card illustrating a young girl and boy meeting over the top of a winking jack o'lantern. Two black cats stand watch. The card is dated 1908 and was made by International Art Publishing Co.

Vintage celluloid windup carousel toy featuring chicks that bob up and down from windows, a bit chick that spins around amid twirling bells and celluloid flowers, all under a pink celluloid canopy. Marked "Japan". Circa 1950. Excellent condition; the canopy droops just a bit, probably from being in a box for too long; windup mechanism works. 7-1/4" tall.
An unusual vintage Halloween wooden ratchet noisemaker decorated with a plastic black cat. This is the only old wooden ratchet we've seen with a plastic decoration. The ratchet is stained orange with a green clacker. The cat is marked "Made In Japan."
