An unusual vintage Halloween wooden ratchet noisemaker decorated with a plastic black cat. This is the only old wooden ratchet we've seen with a plastic decoration. The ratchet is stained orange with a green clacker. The cat is marked "Made In Japan."

Just in time for Christmas. This mint condition Santa Claus is made of felt with fur beard and trim. This is a 1953 replica and includes the Stieff tag. The molded face shows a happy, jolly Santa. He measures 12 inches high.

These Royal Copenhagen playing puppies is made up of one gray-eared puppy on its back trying to coax its friend (white ear) to join the the fun, the other is half-sitting and showing some of his left ear, and the game involves this strange floppy appendage, apparently. Once again the fusion of the subjects where the legs, ears and tails are in contact , adds to the sense of affinity between the dogs. Cool lot the sculpture is signed and dated the box with an old west scene a knife comb cup and saucer vanity set framed picture and a shell opening to a lined interior. Extra-large German Dresden-type papier-mache Easter egg candy container. The chromolithographed paper covering shows a wonderful assortment of roosters, hens, chicks, and of course, Easter rabbits. In 1986, Fenton issued this Teal and Milk Overlay top hat basket. As part of the limited issue Connoisseur Collection, it is number 222 of 1500 made. Stands about 7" tall and does have some wear concerning the gold leaves, otherwise in excellent condition. Handpainted by Linda Everson.

This is the Santa or Jack Frost in a curved pinecone (Type I) ornament. This variation is more uncommon and has more detail than the Type II variation. Excellent paint (except some wear to white beard) and silvering. No chips or cracks. 3-3/4" long.

Fenton made this 2-piece vase in 2000 as part of their 95th Anniversary Collection. It is in mint condition and stands, with its pedestal, 7.5" tall.

This 9" tall basket by Fenton made for its Connoisseur Collection in 1986 is in mint condition. #582/2500. The basket has a teal milk glass interior and is lightly irridized all over.

Fabulous papier-mache Easter candy container in the form of a duck. This fellow has real feathers on his wings, one of which opens on a spring hinge to get at the candy. The bill is wooden and the eyes are glass. It's got everything but the quack! Unmarked, but undoubtedly German. There is a slight amount of the damage to the webbing on the feet and the feathers are a bit ruffled, but otherwise he's in very nice condition. 8.25" tall; 7.5" beak to tail. Circa 1930's

Vintage wood and Iron Gothic pillar candle wall sconce. Made of wood iron and aged paint , these are great decor pieces. Size 19.5" from tip of back plate to bottom of torchiere and 4.74" at top interior of candle holder. We have up to 5 of these they are hand made and are near matching but not exactly from tone of paint but stylistically the same.

A 1930's Santa Clause figurine with a composition face and boots, a cotton batting beard, a felt jacket, and a cotton toy bag and pants. He stands on a mica-covered paperboard base. Unmarked, but definitely pre-war Japanese. Some of the Japanese Santas have rather fearsome faces, but this one is quite jolly. At 7" tall, he's also a bit larger than most.

Excellent vintage celluloid Christmas light in the form of Santa Claus carrying a pack of toys. Celluloid lights are very difficult to find because they were so brittle and flamable. They were made ca. 1915-25.

This one is in remarkable condition, in virtually mint condition. There are no splits, dents, burns or melts! The 3.5 volt bulb tests as non-working with a continuity tester (celluloid lights should never be tested with a 9-v battery). 3-3/4" tall.
