Offered is a very interesting, scarcely-seen, Black Americana child's toy from the 1930's era.
Measuring 7" long x 4.5" high x 4" wide, this colorful toy features two African-American boxers who are activated by jiggling the paddle which causes the boxer's arms and legs to freely fly about.
The boxers have painted wooden bodies with lithographed tin arms and legs...

Children's Black Americana clicker noise maker, works very well. Has nice Graphics on it with a Black Jazz Player playing the Saxophone.

Box is all complete with no splits but as you will see from the photo, there is staining and wear to it.

Measuring 13 inches high, this delightful, hand-made, brother and sister pair of Black cloth dolls were made circa 1940's, by "Roxie" of Asheville, North Carolina, as attested to by the dollmaker's tag sewn on the brother's backside.
Both dolls are in near perfect condition with the exception of a tiny teardrop mark under brother's left eye and a tiny hole next to sister's left side of face on her hairline...

Hard to take decent pictures as the box is sealed with a plastic covering to protect it, which I have left on. It all appears to be in very good order.

Measuring approximately 3" x 3", this rarely found tin mechanical toy features a monkey at the unfortunate mercy of a black lady hitting him with a mallet!
Unmarked, the toy was likely produced in post WWII Germany. It is in wonderful, barely-used condition with just the tiniest degree of scratching wherever metal rubs metal during toy movement...

All Complete and in working order, I suspect this was made in Japan and the instructions booklet was Printed in this case, in France.
