Great looking WWI German regimental ring. The enamel center is cleverly designed to represent a shoulder board. To the left of the enamel shoulder strap is 1914 and to the right is 1914. The inside of the band is hallmarked 860 for the silver content. Because it is silver and was worn the years (Mostly 1914) do show some light rub wear but are still perfectly visible. Very nice regimentally marked piece.

Very nice Gau level political collar tab for the rank Haupt-Eisatzleiter. Nicely sunk in insignia and god look throughout with typical signs of gentle age wear. One rub on the red trim to the bottom right. Good looking tab for a relatively high rank.

Places and dates engraved on the top are N AFRICA 1943-1943, SICILY 1943, EUROPE 1944-45, KOREA 1950-1952. The two DI insignia attached are from the 70th Armor Regiment and the 1st Cavalry Division. Description of item: This is a fantastic commemorative German beer stein presented to cannoneer Joseph Andres, who was part of the 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Battalion, 1899-1901, in Munich, Germany. The stein is made in white glass decorated with scenes of cannon practice, of regiment members drinking beer, and other regimental members names are listed. The stein has a pewter lid that has a cannon and a lion on top. Andres' name is inscribed on the gold-rimmed bottom...

Very interesting Imperial German regimental stein. This is an early one as the engraved inscription inside the lid is dated 1891. The engraving has the initials A.F. R.B. and is in memory of the fellow's service (I can't quite make out the exact words) and the date M. 21.6.91 (June 26, 1891. The ceramic bottom of the shell is made in the shape of an actual artillery shell and the top finial is in the shape of the fuse...

Lovely Bavarian cavalry stein for one of the royal regiments. 5 Chev Rgt (Chevaulegers-Regiment) "Erzherzog Albrecht von Ostereich 3 Esk (Squadron) 1901-1903. No chips or damage that I can find. Correct lithophane on the bottom. Very nice piece.

This is a lovely little set. A pitcher for iced tea, lemonade or whatever and two matching cups with 5th army crests on each piece. The pitcher is about 9.5 inches tall and the cups are about 4.5 inches tall. A local fellow had enlisted and ended up fighting in Italy. The souvenirs he brought home were this pitcher set and his lovely Italian wife. He passed away a year or so ago and she decided she was also getting old and it was time to part with old memories after many decades of happiness...

Very nice little Imperial album sized for postcards. The cover is nice and clean but is made of a sort of corrugated craft paper so there is some edge wear. Really in great condition for not being real solidly built. There are 25 pages which can hold one card front and back. The last two attached images show the damaged pages that I was able to find. A nice little album.

Unique, hand made CBI - China Burma India - pillow case. Brown silk base embroidered "TO MOTHER" and 1945. The bullion stitching is very nice on this but as it is hand made there are some loose threads along the edges. Nothing is coming undone; It just looks like this was made not so tightly. The fabric is a warm brown silky material that was very frustrating to photograph either with or without a flash...

This is a very interesting set of six cigarette holders. They are in the original sealed wax paper envelope but seem to be thick paper or cardboard. Each has patriotic motifs including a battleships, flag stand, airplane, portraits etc. Packaging has a good looking iron cross in a laurel wreath and the humble price of 10 pfennig. I have never seen this before nor could I find any other examples online so figure this was a cheap type of item that nobody bothered to save. Great piece.

Very attractive Imperial German navy photo album. Reddish brown color with very nice flag artwork on the cover with the words "Kriegs Erinnerungen" or "War Memories". Unfortunately the album is empty but the first page has the original owner's name "Steinbach" and the years 1914 1915 and 1916. The rest I can not make out and it looks like the location was intentionally erased. This writing is shown on the last attached image...

Very cool plaque given "To General Harold K. Johnson, Chief of Staff United States Army from 1st Air Cavalry Division Artillery On The Occasion of Christmas 1965". Nice central metal map of Vietnam. 11 DI crests around the border are all in nice shape except one which is missing one post causing it to swivel which is sort of nice because it shows how they were mounted; Mainly direct mounted instead of having the posts broken off and the crest glued to the wood...

Beautiful Mettlach stein that has been engraved as a shooting prize. Engraving looks to read something like "For keepsake of the Prussian King's shooting event August 1 1891 Feldwebel Muller. Feldwebel, of course, is an age old term for the equivalent of a staff sergeant. Stein itself is nicely marked with the Villeroy & Boch Mettalch ink stamp and shows the usual high quality of ceramic work typical of this quality oriented firm...

A vintage hand painted wartime (disarmed) 17-1/2" mortar bomb with the stamped identification SSE 42 1-1/2 LBT. It has caged fins for stability and it has a an eyehook from which it was suspended from wire for display. It is painted in white, black, red and white and it has the legend "The Brig" in script. We're not sure of the country or age other than it appears vintage. It is in very good condition with no major corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected minor scuffs and ...

Very nice WWI trench art picture frame. AEF was the Allied Expeditionary Force. This unit was the 815 Pioneer Infantry which was a unit comprised of black enlisted men at a time before integration. I don't like digging at things so I even left the stickers on from when I acquired this. This is handmade so not a very complicated piece but it does have good history.

Very cool trench art ashtray. The match holder at the top is engraved on both sides. One side shows a crown and reads "NEDERLAND HERRUST". The other side reads "BEVRUDING SPEKH-HEIDE 17 SPETEMBER 1944". I belive "Bevruding" should be "Bevrijding" which means "Liberation". The date of Sept 17, 1945 coincides with the begginning of Operation Market Garden. The interesting point here is that Market Garden was not much of a success and the failure to finish this battle as planned was immortalized in...

"Remember the Maine" became the battle cry for the United States during the Spanish American war in 1898. Hostilities broke out after the explosion of the Maine in Havana harbor. Apparently the old slogan "Remember the Alamo was deemed to have been successful enough for a retread. This change purse was a product of that time "fad". The buff leather is worn (As buff leather well over 100 years old tends to do) but there are no tears and the leather remains quite soft and pliant despite age. Ther...
