Antique, 19th century, French cavalry cuirassier armor, cuirass breast plate and back plate: The breastplate formed of thick steel with a medial ridge and flanged out at the base, fitted with a pair of brass studs at the front for the attachment of shoulder straps, adorned on the perimeter with six domed brass rivets...

Very nice Imperial Russian belt buckle. WWI vintage brass construction. These are most commonly found in very rough condition. This one still shows excellent detail right down to the crests on the eight tiny shields. Very nice example.

Very nice early 1847 pattern Prussian Belt and buckle. This pattern was used through 1895. Attached sixth image shows the reverse with solder points. The buckle is quite attached to the leather so I decided not to remove it for photos. Rare to find with the proper leather belt. There is one scrunched edge on the leather as well as a small square from an old price sticker. Very nice, early belt.

Great looking shoulder board for German Lieutenant General. Very rich gold and silver Russial braid with red backing. One third from the top is a large single pip (About 23mm wide) indicating the rank above General Major. The pip shows gentle age wear and the red backing has one tiny moth nip about 1x2mm (See last image). This is very tiny and does almost nothing in detracting from this great looking shoulder board. If only it could talk. Nice item.

Absolutely stunning set. Fascist Italian Brocade officer belt with sword hangers in original box. I believe this rig is for Public Safety Police which is probably one of those innocuous names for a sketchy organization. The buckle itself is a lovely gold gilt example featuring an eagle beneath a crown gripping a fasces and with a nicely rendered enamel House of Savoy crest on his belly...

This is a very rare Skoshi Tiger patch recently purchased out of an advanced aviation patch collection. This group was charged with evaluating the F5 in live combat situations in 1965 and 1966. The original owner's labels are taped on the back and I will leave them there as they are somewhat helpful. Very cool patch not often coming to market.

This is a hard to find Japanese army cold weather or arctic cap. As most of their operations were in warm areas these are not too common. This one is also in superb condition and would be nearly impossible to improve on. The fabric is clean and unstained. Every button and every loop to attach to the respective buttons is present. No loose threads, stains or anything of the sort throughout. Probably the best detail is that even the fur is clean and in healthy shape...

Very high quality full dress tunic for Japanese naval captain. Lovely dark blue shell with bullion work around the color that is just out of this world. There is one small snag in the bullion but almost impossible to see with all the activity. None of the buttons look to be reattached nor does there seem to be any repairs. The inside is made of a high quality quilted fabric that is very clean and pleasantly pliable...

High quality Fascist fez with black wool construction. Side panels extend around the whole cap with vertically ribbed black rayon trim on the top edge. This all surrounds the central oval crown. On top is a multi-strand black artificial silk tassel which extends for about 5 inches and was intended to hang over the right side. The front features a very nice bullion fasces that is consistent with high the quality Italians usually produced...

Great looking alpine "cappello" for WWII Italian officer. Nice looking hat with generally good form throughout. Very nice officer type black eagle. Leatherette band 15 stars of varioustones. The smaller are all the same size but vary from gold to silver to blackened. Really an interesting look. Below that is an even cooler green, white and red cord in a very intricate braid that must have taken forever to get just right...

Nice steel Wurttemberg belt buckle with leather tab. The tab is folded over a bit but not torn. Good been-there look throughout. No idea what the numbers on the back are. Hard to find belt buckle.

Three colorized prints featuring an American General in the Infantry(1794), an Austrian Regiment Officer (1840) and a 16thC Officer in the Queen's L.D. Lancers(1835-1840). These prints may have originally been in a book and all are signed by the same artist. The American General print has a small crease on the bottom. 11" x 13"

Nice, original WWII era German aiguillette. I believe with the red trim this should be for Red Cross (DRK). While I am sure of the age I am assuming on the Red Cross designation so would appreciate input.

A set of six matching 15/16" nurse's buttons (we think) from a World War I era uniform. Each is made of white metal and all have a black patinated finish - jewellery and metal were blackened so as not to reflect light or shine in the dark to avoid attracting the attention of the low-flying airplanes. The three of them have their retaining cotter pins...

Very nice pair of leather shin guards for horseback riding. These are typical of the type that Japanese officer's would wear and sure enough, each piece has written inside "Second Lieutenant of Infantry Nishimura Katsujiro in very nice, clear writing. Named gear is always fun and these would look superb with an appropriate uniform. Condition is terrific throughout with only the mildest signs of age and use. Straps and buckles are all present and leather is soft, supple and nicely toned...

Very nice Russian belt and buckle. Buckle is clean and in good condition. The brocade is lovely and has a real nice toned patina. Two clips for sword or dagger hangers. Some parts of the reverse are age faded a bit more then others but still really a great looking rig.
