An authentic vintage 1970s autographed magazine article by Joan Sutherland (1926-2010). This dedicated signature is signed over the article and photograph "To Joan Best Wishes Joan Sutherland" in marker, and it comes with a plexiglass standup frame. It is in very good condition with some ragged edges to the paper and some minor fading to the ink. We can ship this without the standup frame if you wish...

Offered is a set of three tubes of C1900, unused, new-old-stock, M. Stein's theatrical grease paint makeup, rarely found in today's collectible market. Stein's theater makeup was extremely well-known throughout New York City's Broadway Theater District and was manufactured locally in New York.

The tubes bear the Stein's Trademark seal which is quite detailed and ornate and consists of a horseshoe labeled "Semper Fidelis" (Always Faithful), which encircles a stylized and entwined "M" and "S"...

Original movie poster, 1963, for the film "The Stripper", starring then-young Joanne Woodward, and Robert Webber, Louis Nye, and Gypsy Rose Lee. The poster measures 39 1/2" by 26" (45" by 32" framed, behind easy-ship Plexi). There is hand-numbering at bottom right, "63/123", and I do not know what to make of that since this would been unlikely to have been printed in such a low edition...

This is a very unique item........NOT a print! It is an original drawing in pastel and gouache on a soft old board, measuring 40" by 30" extreme dimensions. The subject is a lovely young Gloria Swanson in a classic 20's 'do, probably created for some kind of advertising purpose like a lobby card, poster, etc., although I haven't found any printed item corresponding to this particular work (though I haven't looked exhaustively)...

An example of a very scarce and desirable poster, issued in 1977 in Glendale, California, featuring a montage of images of Johnny Weissmuller (1904-1984), the actor who famously played the role of Tarzan in the series of movies between 1932 and 1948. Weissmuller signed in magic marker at lower center, and the piece is numbered 976/1500 at lower right. Weissmuller was an Olympic gold swimmer in the 1920's, and he brought the athletic physique to Hollywood, with lasting impact...

An early 20th century reproduction print of famed Belle Epoque actress SARAH BERNHARDT (1844-1923), **HAND SIGNED/INSCRIBED** by her. The signature is in ink at lower right (guaranteed her original ink signature and not printed). The print is after the 1879 etching by artist Jules Bastien-Lepage. This print under magnification has the dot matrix confirming it is a reproduction and not an original etching. The value is in the autograph and inscription...

This is a black and white photo, 7 1/2" by 7", (10 1/4" by 9 1/4" as simply framed), signed by hand, in ink, at lower right "Nelson Eddy". I'm offering it simply as Hollywood or Nelson Eddy memorabilia, as after comparing the signature with others viewable on line, I feel it possible that this was not actually signed by him. Condition is excellent and this is ready to hang on your wall if you are a fan of this singer...

Circa early to mid 1960's image of actress Joanne Woodward (1930-), hand signed and inscribed "To Tom Best Wishes Joanne Woodward" in blue marker. The photo (7 1/2" by 9 1/2", 10 1/2" by 12" in simulated wood frame) is I believe a reprint of a sixties image of the actress in her prime, and signed at a later date. Woodward of course was married for fifty years to actor Paul Newman, with whom she appeared in ten films, and with whom she collaborated on many others...

A circa early 1960's black and white photo of famous actress Leslie Caron (1931-), the actress appearing very young, with her famous sassy short haircut, inscribed at lower right in somewhat faded ink "Pour George Ghira/Souvenir de/Leslie Caron". The name of the recipient might be "Ghica", or even another variant---difficult to decipher. Caron of course is the actress known for "Gigi", "An American in Paris", and so forth...

A classic, circa 1980 or early 1980's photograph of famed American actress and singer BARBARA STREISAND (1942-). I am guessing on the age but she looks to be about 40 or so in the photo, and the permed hair is of that period----and then, there are those fishnets. The piece is signed boldly in blue marker at lower right "Best Wishes/Barbara Streisand"...

A classic 9" by 7" black and white photo of George Burns holding a cigar, an impish grin on his face, inscribed in yellow (or ink that has faded to yellow) "Best, George Burns" at lower left. Burns (1896-1996) was an American actor, singer, and writer whose career in entertainment spanned many, many decades. With the passage of time, the photo has stuck to the glass at upper right and I am afraid to try to remove it. In a simple inexpensive frame.

Movie promotional poster for 1995's film "The American President" starring Michael Douglas and Annette Bening, directed by Rob Reiner, AUTOGRAPHED in gold marker by both Douglas and Reiner. The poster, 41" by 26 1/4", is currently shrink wrapped (not framed, but possibly "museum mounted" if a reverse gallery label for "Museum Mount" gallery be an indicator). The poster appears to be in good condition save for minor handling creases, and some old moisture exposure at lower right corner, which h...

A poster from 1984 advertising Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's documentary "That's Dancing", which explored the history of dancing in the movies, SIGNED AND DEDICATED "To Merton Shapiro Best Wishes Gene Kelly" in white at lower right. Gene Kelly (1912-1996) was a major American dancer and choreographer, from the late 1930's through his death in 1996. He reached the peak of his fame perhaps at mid century, when he became known for such classics as "Singing in the Rain" (Debbie Reynolds) and "An American ...

A copy of the 2011 autobiographical book "Happy Accidents" by comedienne Jane Lynch, dedicated by her to "Anthony" in marker and signed boldly on that page as well. This is an autobiography of the tall blonde actress and tv personality, addressing, among other topics, her life as a gay woman. The book is clean and fresh, just slight wear to top front edge of dust jacket. Measures 9 1/2" by 6 1/4" by 3/4".

A PAIR of original glossy black and white photos of actors HURD HATFIELD (1917-1998) and GENE NELSON (1920-1996), circa 1940's, both autographed and inscribed to an as yet unidentified "Wilson", which is the principal reason why I have decided to sell them together (they are also identical sizes and identically framed and matted). The Hatfield has the following inscription at left: "For Wilson--with admiration for his dancing---In friendship--Yours, Hurd Hatfield". The Gene Nelson in green in...
