The Hachi name, as you may remember, is closely associated with the late Princess Diana. A beaded evening gown created for her by the Japanese designer took top price (more than $70,000) at the personal apparel auction she was organizing at the time of her death. She wore that dress often between 1983 and 1989. This said, any beaded dress by Hachi is of more than idle interest -- and ours happens to have the very same beaded sunburst pattern that features on Diana's gown at shoulder and hip...

Maker is unknown but is very well executed and appears to be from a professional costume shop. Does need some minor stitching to the hat. Great costume just in time for Halloween!

With a Neat n' Tidy label at the neckline, baby rick rack trims this delightful pinafore apron, from the 40's my guesstimate. The fabric is a very fine unique weave with lines woven in. Excellent condition but for a small hand mending in the skirt (shown in photo on left of skirt)which isn't noticed in the folds. The 2 pockets are intact.Perfect to celebrate 4th of July, as well as add to your apron collection!
Thank you for visiting!

This is one of those pretty sweater clips that girls wore with their twin sweaters in the 1950s. One sweater was a pull over, and the other one was a cardigan which was often worn over the shoulders and held in place by a sweater clip. Most were decorative, as this one is. The pearlized heart shaped ends are decorated with flowers, the chain is imitation pearls and the clips are gold colored. It is in very good condition and has no marks.
This vintage coat is incredibly beautiful and has no real flaws, worn areas, or tears. It may have had repairs in the past, but nothing is evident of that. The only thing that needs to be fixed is a missing eye for one of the hooks on the front. It was made in Germany at a furrier that had been in business since 1883. The label says, "Die Weltmarke, Pelzveredelung Seit 1883" and "Thorerprocess". It is really gorgeous and looks new because there is nothing wrong or flawed with it...

No damages to the bisque and the paint is in good condition.
This is a really nice gold toned metal hair piece. The butterfly is enameled, I think, and it is very well done. The butterfly even has two gold toned metal antennae. It measures 2" x 1 1/2" and it is in good condition. The front is nice and shiny, but there is a bit of corrosion on the back where the metal pieces are fastened together. There are no marks.
