This delightful, 1920's, hand-painted, Folk Art-inspired, English pull toy features a darling horse and jockey!
When pulled by its string, the toy rolls along on its metal and rubber wheels, causing the jockey to raise and lower himself off of the horse as the horse makes a coordinated "jumping" motion as his front legs raise up slightly.
The toy is labeled "Loros Bros Ltd London England" within a small triangle that is painted on one side of the metal supporting rim (see photos)...
This great vintage bridge set is still in its original packaging - never opened - mint in box. The box set measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" and reads, "LEARN TO PLAY BRIDGE... According to HOYLE." It includes a Bridge Instruction book, 2 decks of cards and a scorepad. The cards are colorful: one deck displays a cute bunny rabbit, the other displays a cute chipmunk. It is especially unique because it comes with the teaching bridge booklet. The set is circa 1950's or 1960's.
This Gorham sterling yo-yo is 2 1/4" in diameter by 1 3/8". . It is hallmarked Gorham sterling cover 30 steel body. Circa 1930s. There are a few dings in the sterling. Definitely for the person who has everything. There are the letters the letters "R" and "G ?" on the top. It's so faint you can hardly read it.

Cast iron Eagle Bank in original nearly pristine condition. The bank features a mother eagle perched on a rock overlooking her two eaglets in their nest, ready to feed them when activated by the back lever which works well. The underside is marked Pat Jan 23 1888. We rarely come across cast iron banks this state of fine preservation. The only minor paint losses are around the black base. This bank is an antique show piece.

This exciting horse drawn fire engine is clearly in a race against time, but the timelessness of this toy endures. It features a single horse pulling a fire pumper driven by a single fireman. We believe that the paint may be from a very old repaint job but it has, ironically, protected it from rust. The right rear wheel is missing a cap and all wheels are wobbly.
The interior wall under the driver's seat is embossed 1075...
One of Kenton's marquee product lines was its Overland Circus which featured numerous horse drawn vehicles of which we have perhaps the most coveted, the Overland Circus Band Wagon. It is drawn by two gilded white horses with red painted gold capped drivers leading a large red wagon with harps and lion heads, all loaded with 8 intrument playing men, and led by a master driver. The arms on the band members are articulated allowing modest movement...
An orange painted cast iron wagon with nickle wheel and pull, embossed with Express Flyer on the two long sides of the wagon. This toy is an excellent specimen of a somewhat hard to find category and is in very good shape with about 90-95% of its original paint intact. The nickle palated areas have corroded to a significant degree as has the pull. Nonetheless, the condition is well above average...
A super nice vintage shooter marble with white base and aventurine and oxblood patches. No defects.
Dimension: 7/8"
This antique cast iron horse drawn fire truck consists of a horse drawing a water pumper driven by a fireman molded into his seat. The toy c. 1900 - 10 and attributed to Shimer, Son & Company, a small Pennsylvania toy firm which was active from the 1890s to perhaps as late as 1920. The underside is embossed with 1075, presumably a model number. This model is nickel plated.
The condition is good, having around 20-25% paint loss, wobbly wheels, two of which are missing hub caps...
Cast iron horse drawn sulky attributed to Shimer, Son & Company, a small toy manufacturer from the 1890s to no later than 1920. This sulky is nickel plated and all one piece. Condition is good with about 25+% finish loss, some rust on the horse particularly on butt and head, wheels are wobbly. Shimer is a hard to find maker and this example has all of the wonderful qualities of turn of the century toys.
Dimension: 6 1/4" l
A Kenton horse drawn stake wagon with two horses, one white, the other black, driven by a yellow painted man mounted on a Kenton blue stake wagon. We suspect that this toy represents very late production for the firm in the early 1950s, although it had been produced for many years during the firm's lifetime...
