The fish is an ancient Christian symbol which makes it an appropriate ornament for the Christmas tree. This sparkling fish is blown glass from Czechoslovakia. The metal cap is marked. He is 4 inches long with yellow with red fins and big black eyes. The ornament is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, etc. There is normal silver lose around the pike. Circa: 1930-1940

Fabulous handpainted sheet iron feather tree stand. The Christmas tree stand features three elves contemplating their traditional lucky mushrooms. The elves, one each in blue, red and yellow hooded suits, are seated on little grassy knolls planted with flowers. This cute little bear ornament is dressed in a two-buttoned green and copper clown suit with a ruffled collar. He is wearing a tiny hat that covers his right ear and his paws are in his pockets. Bears have alway been a popular animal theme for early German glass blowers. This ornament is in outstanding condition. There is a bit of silver loss around the pike, which is usual. Circa: 1939-1940. Height 4 inches.

Colorful hard plastic lollipop holder in the form of a clown on wheels. This piece, intended for either Christmas or Easter, is very difficult to find. Made by Rosbro.Origin: America, circa 1950.
