A terrific lithographed tin Easter toy by Chein. A jaunty rabbit, decked out in a straw hat, pulls a cart decorated with various Easter bunny scenes. The back of the cart is marked with Chein’s logo.Origin: America, ca. 1930. Condition: one back corner of the cart has some bubbling of the finish, but otherwise excellent condition. Size: 11-1/2” long; 7-3/4” tall.

A wonderful and rare lithographed tin plate by Tindeco featuring H. Cady’s illustration of “Peter Rabbit’s Radio Party”. This is one of the nicest of all the Peter Rabbit scenes produced on tinwares. The center shows a group of rabbits and their friends enjoying a picnic while music plays from a radio in the background. No.1 American made noisemaker marked TC or CT . Litho on the front in great shape, blank on the back, 8" long 4" diameter. Most interesting are the wooden heads on the noisemakers - there are faces stenciled on them. Shows wear over the non litho part.No.2 made by U.S. Metal Toy Mfg.Co. in very good condition has witches, ghosts, cauldron, black cat . owl, etc. in decor.Tin part is 4 1/4" long and 3 1/4" diameter handle is wooden.

Once used at Christmas time with a creche or in a putz scene, we now enjoy decorating with them all year around, such soft woolly sheep. This handsome fellow has a composition body covered with fluffy white cotton. He is 3 inches tall with a green paper collar around his neck and 4 wooden stick legs.
