This is a small bisque jointed body Hebee made by Horsman. These character dolls were designed by Charles H. Twelvetrees a cartoonist & illustrator, from his "Twelvetrees Kids" featured in the Pictorial Review and newspapers throughout the USA during the 1910-20's. The particular age of this doll at the moment is unknown. It is in excellent condition. Signature RME is painted under the bottom.

This doll is an Armand Marseille Character Infant believed to be made in 1926. Number 342 352 351 Cloth body, Bisque head and hands. Linen dress and bonnet, socks on legs foot area. Hand painted of course. Movable glass eyes open mouth and two teeth on bottom jaw. This is a very pretty doll with beautiful bisque, feathered eyebrows, an open mouth with four teeth,and bright blue eyes with dark blue lines around them. The ears are pierced, and the body is fully ball jointed type in lovely shape. The doll has an antique mohair wig, and antique clothes, shoes, and socks.

This is a very sweet small Belton doll with a solid dome bisque head except for two stringing holes on top in the Belton style. Very nice bisque, inset glass eyes, closed mouth, square cut flange neck on a wooden post, a mohair wig, and the original mariners outfit with a metal anchor at the neck. Body is a five piece with painted shoes and socks. Beautiful little doll with great character.

This is a wonderful little doll from the 1930s or earlier. She looks like she is either a hula girl or an American Indian girl. She is made of bisque that is painted a dark red and has movable arms and legs. Her outfit is made of leather – that is why I think she may be Native American. Her features are hand painted, including a headband. The doll has no maker’s mark that I can find. She is about 3 inches tall and in excellent condition, although the leather is quite stiff.
