A fine Elizabeth II Coronation plate, Myott Son & Co., 1953. Ivory background with a central full-color design featuring a profile portrait of Elizabeth. The border has a molded rose design in four sections. Two crowns and two Royal cyphers complete the border design. Gilt trim. One small surface scratch not affecting any of the design, otherwise in excellent condition. Measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter.

A French moulded clear glass plaque embedded in recess with a very finely-cast white ceramic head of Napoleon Bonaparte.The profile is looking to the right and the head is decorated with a laurel wreath. This is an excellent example of the "sulphite" technique which was in use till the early part of the 19th century and lost subsequently.Age: > 1820. Size: 3 1/4 in. (8.5cm) diameter. Condition: Very good, minute nibbles to the back rim of the foliate edge.
