In the 1942 "We French Workers Warn You" poster by the American artist, Ben Shahn (1898-1969), a German gang rounds up Frenchmen for forced labor in the Reich. The poster is linen backed, measures 40" x 28" and is in very good condition, with color restoration to the folds.

Eugene McCarthy ran for the Presidency of the USA in 1968 on a peace platform. This historic poster was one of the last political posters created by Ben Shahn (1898-1869), noted for his outstanding graphic designs for World War II posters. The McCarthy poster is linen backed, measures 25" x 38" and is in excellent condition, with restored top left and right corners.

This is a crystal covered box and three trays produced in Bohemia before 1950. The box measures 4 1/4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. A tray is 3 3/4 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide. The set is made of fine crystal. All the pieces have beveled edges. They have intaglio cut scenes of men and women playing golf. This is a wonderful large plate made in 1981 by Wedgwood, England to commemorate the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. The plate measures 10 inches in diameter and has a great design and graphics with gold trim. The royal memorabilia plate is in excellent, mint condition. Lovely! Measuring 20 inches in length by 4 inches high, this rare, Jim Crow-era, segregationist sign once hung in the one and only movie theatre of Doerun, Georgia, a small south Georgia town. Folks would view movies on a white sheet that was tacked to one wall.
