This is an unmarked souvenir small mug made to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII of England on May 12, 1937. The coronation never happened because Edward abdicated the throne in order to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson. The mug measures 2.75 inches high by 3 in diameter and has a superb condition portrait of the king who was never crowned. An official 1939 New York World's Fair souvenir hat. Orange and royal blue. The top of the cap part (orange) is lightly soiled and there is a tiny bit of wear on the rim of the band. Generally in very good codition.The hat when flat is about 11" long and 5" at the widest part.
I have another that is not pictured. It has an orange border and a blue body - also $ 95.00. There is one discolored spot on one side of the orange band, otherwise in very good shape.

This commemorative plate was made to commemorate the 1981 royal wedding of HRH Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, or Princess Di of England. The large ironstone plate measures 10 inches in diameter and features a fabulous full color coat of arms of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. Wow. It by Woods and Sons, Staffordshire England and has gold trim and is in excellent, mint condition with no chips or cracks. Really impressive. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
