Late 19th century French Cuirassier's helmet which had been captured by Germans and which was incorporated with a German miner badge plate with the cipher "EL" and then used as a parade miner helmet in the city Biberach Riss. This early 19th century French military musician's sword has survived in nice condition. The French musician's sword was an influence for the American Civil War models carried by bandsmen as regulation from the 1840s to the 1890s. This one has survived in nice condition with only a little staining on the 29-1/2 inch blade.
