US Cavalry saber Model 1840, made by the renowned Solingen firm Carl Eickhorn (stamped on ricasso). Sabers of 1840 pattern were often made by German makers during the second half of the 19th century. Brass guard and pommel cap are and in excellent condition with fine original patina. The wooden grip has remaining old twisted brass wire. 33 inches long blade with broad main and narrow secondary fullers, is in very good condition with no nicks or pitting. Overall length: 38 ½ inches (98cm).

American Civil War sword dated 186? on the blade at the base. The fourth number is worn out. On the other side of the blade is a manufacture's name. The pommel and knuckle bow stamped with partly worn out number 4 and the guard near ricasso with the number 26. The 1840 model was used by the Confederacy and the Union. Total length: 38 inches, the blade is 32 inches. The sword is in good condition.

Outstanding 18th century Falcion Sword made in America. The grip is made of ivory , carved expertly with an animal head. There is a chip at the end of the handle but in good condition, except for one small crack (see picture). The blade is slightly pitted. Crossguard made of iron with a hammered leaf pattern. 18th century Indo Persian shield (buckler) made from hand forged steel damascened in silver and gold (worn out) with arabesque scrolls. The workmanship is excellent, the shield is well hammered the marks of the hammer used to shape the metal are clearly visible on the interior as seen in the picture, the surface of the shield is nicely smooth.
