Fabulous pre-Civil War Federal gilt on brass belt buckle or plate with the original web belt. Eagle holding arrows and olive branch surrounded by 13 stars. From the Lang Spraggins Collection. Very good vintage condition. Belt buckle measures 3-1/4" by 2-1/4" Circa 1840s-1850

Late 19th century French Cuirassier's helmet which had been captured by Germans and which was incorporated with a German miner badge plate with the cipher "EL" and then used as a parade miner helmet in the city Biberach Riss. The brass skull of the helmet is with a brass crest and Medusa's head, and is with the original black horsehair tuft. Leather-backed brass chinscales with rosettes complete with its original leather lining. On the Interior of the visor attached is an oval logo which reads "... Click for details
