In a dark navy blue velvet with cornflower blue and dark blue glass beads, this is a beautiful example of 20's art deco style. The label is nearly as cute as the hat with it's sweet flapper face and deco pennimode lettering. It's in good wearable condition, but some of the silk velvet is a little worn on the folds and on the edges of the bow. This is a real cutie. It's actually made of a boucle knit over the buckrum form, and has these wonderful velvet apples and leaves with red velvet ribbon to contrast with the warm taupe color. There is no label and it's in excellent condition, and measures 13" across.

This fetching and very flattering hat is from the early 60's or late 50's. It's very beautifully made from the crown with it's huge soft bow, to the lace-lined inside brim. It has both the designers label, "Collette Cathay" and the shop label "R Dee Shoppe" from Stockton, Ca. where it was sold. It was very carefully stored and is in like-new condition, and measures 14" across and 20" inside hat band.

"Fresh as a daisy" comes to mind when you see this early 50's straw pancake hat. It's 11" across with no label in a pretty beige straw with dozens of little daisies and 6 orange velvet bows. Excellent condition.

This toast-colored straw and horsehair hat looks like a teens hat, but I believe it's from the 40's. It's beautifully made with an I. Magnin and Co. label, and measures about 15" across, 20" inside hat band. There are a few tears in the velvet ribbon, which can be seen in the closeups, but otherwise the hat and rose trim are in excellent condition.

This early 50's hat is 13" across at the widest, and the inside hat band is 20". The label says "Modern Miss". There are 5 big roses, stems and leaves, and a green velvet bow trim. The rim is trimmed in matching white straw braid. It's really quite charming and in excellent condition.

This beautiful early 40's rayon crepe gown has an elaborate neckline and back trim using beads and rhinestones on black net. It has a flattering sweetheart neckline gathered down the front with elbow length sleeves, and the front waistline comes to a point. I would say it is a size 6 or 8, but because of clever cutting and strategically placed gathers, it would fit quite a range.
