This is a Vintage Meeker Made, looks to be leather with a suede lining with a Bakelite clasp. The clasp drop lifts up and turns around to the back black side and that is what unlatches the purse and makes it able to open. the back side black part is chipped as shown in photo but this does not show once the clasp in put in place. A well-painted, attractive Czechoslovakian porcelain brass-mounted powder jar c1920. This 3-1/8" diameter box stands 2" tall; it has fine hand painted flowers on the top and bottom. It has wavy lines in the glaze in aclever imitation of the look of ivory, and it has gilt brass mounts. It has the orange Czecho-Slovakia mark. Great pair of Novelty Cufflinks dating from the 1950's, a tiny actual working Compass set into the face of each link, goldtoned metal, with Silvertone bezel holding the tiny glass face. The Cufflinks are marked JAPAN on the compass face and the links are marked PIONEER on the shafts. SIZE: 3/4" face. CONDITION: light wear on the finish, the Compass function works. Fun and useful addition to a wardrobe.
