Exquisite turn-of-the-century coat of entirely handmade Battenburg lace. The placement and matching of the lace shows the coat to be original and not made of pieces from other lace articles. The two small ribbon appliques at the neckline may have been added at a later date, but they add a sweet touch to a rare and beautiful collector's piece. Early 30's silk dress in a beautiful print of orange and cream flowers and pale green leaves with tendrils on a black background. It even has the original matching belt with its green glass and chrome deco belt buckle. Mostly bias cut throughout, it has no side or back opening, and would fit a size 6. Wonderful and sexy LBD by Claude Montana with a great faux bra design. The outside dress is an acetate-silk blend, and the lining is viscose-cupro. There are padded bra cups sewn inside, and the dress is a size 38 or 4. The measurements are approx. 34" bust, 26" waist, 36" hips, and 33" overall length. The dress is in excellent condition.
