Beautiful Chinese hand-embroidered silk satin coat from the 50's. The lavish embroidered medallions have fruits, flowers, and leaves with moths or butterflies, and the top motifs are fishes. There is also embroidery on all the edging and the big sleeve cuffs, and the coat is lined in black silk. A medium to large size, it measures approx. up to 43" bust, up to 50" hips, and 40" overall length. A lovely wearable piece, it's in excellent condition.

Actually, the color is a very deep magenta. About a size 10, it measures approx. 16" across the shoulders, 39" bust, 30" waist, 40" hips, 22" outside sleeve length, and 53" overall length. It zips down the back with a nylon zipper, and it's in excellent condition.
