Lovely early 1930s rayon two piece knit dress with matching tie belt in a pretty peach color with cream trim. The skirt part has been sewn to a cotton liner that's like a slip, and it could be removed for a smoother line. Cute 50s rockabilly sweater of white Orlon with an embroidered silk overlay, pearl buttons, and a Peter Pan collar. About a medium size, it measures, unstretched, 17" across the shoulders, 39" bust, 31" waist, 21 1/2" outside sleeve length, and 19" overall length. Except for some slight yellowing of the silk overlay, it's in excellent condition.

Lovely and delicate early 30's gown with a matching jacket, custom made for Mrs. Robert Bliss of Dumbarton Oaks in Washington, D.C., who was the wife of the US Ambassador to Brazil. The dress is lined in off-white silk with a cotton net covering and a very unusual cotton lace skirt consisting of two big ruffles trimmed in organdy. The jacket is made of lace, with the trim and bows of organdy. The ensemble would make a beautiful wedding dress and the jacket alone could be worn many different ways... Click for details

Classic cream wool knit dress by "Kim" of Kimberly Knitwear from the early 50's. The top has a modified shawl collar, deep dolman sleeves, and a side metal zipper. The ribbed skirt is fairly long, with an elasticized waistband. It's a small size, about a 4 or 6, but there is some stretch. The unstretched measurements are approx. 38" bust, 26" waist, and 18" overall length for the top. The skirt measures approx. 24" waist, 35" hips, and 30" length. It's in excellent condition.

Great 1960's wool-blend double knit tunic top or micro mini-dress with faux leopard fur insets. By Lilli Ann, but without the label, it looks as chic today as when it was new. Originally a three piece ensembles, it had pants that were ruined and a very cute matching coat with the Lilli Ann label that was sold a couple of years ago. It's about a size 4-6, and measures approx. 15" across the shoulders, 36" bust, 30" waist, up to 41" hips, and 27" overall length. Excellent condition.

Pale yellow silk georgette 20's dress with light green piping and lovely embroidery of chenille flowers and buds. It's shown over a plain silk slip (not included), but it has a layer of georgette that makes a bodice and skirt underlay. The embroidered flower sprays on the skirt are set off by the piping and hem points, and the hip band has many rows of tiny tucks. Darling little 1960's lurex dress with its own matching tie belt. The lady I purchased this dress from said she wore it to see Bobby Darin in the 60's. Of checked pale gray and silver lurex knit, it zips down the back with a metal zipper and is lined in acetate, except for the sleeves. It has side seam pockets and is about a size 4. It measures approx. up to 38" bust, 35" waist, 37" hips, 23" outside sleeve length (depending upon shoulder width), and 39" overall length. Excellent condition.

Gorgeous mid-30's couture-made silk velvet jacket with fabulous Lesage style hand-embroidery in silver and gold metallic thread. Unfortunately, there is no label, but it does remind me of Schiaparelli evening jackets. It's lined in black silk and has little silk covered weights sewn to the front lining of the scalloped peplum.
