This wonderful, late 19th / early 20th century photograph of students from a New England, one-room school house measures 9 x 12 inches including mat. Actual size of the sepia toned photo is 8 x 5 inches. The subjects are posed on the stairs in front of the side of the schoolhouse. Featured are twin girls in the very top row who are dressed identically. None of the 30 young students appear to be very enthusiastic about their participation in this photography session!
