This 4¾" long briar pipe (30.86BHJ) was found at the early Union Pacific Railroad site of Bridger Station, Wyoming. The stem of the well-preserved relic pipe is made from hard rubber or Bakelite. Bridger station started in 1868 and lasted until c.1885. Named after the famous mountain man, Jim Bridger, whose name lives on, nothing now remains of the old station except for a few mounds of dirt, some broken bottle glass, and a few rusted tin cans. A wonderful lighter holder in the shape of a Scottie Dog or, Scottish Terrier. Circa 1930s. A black Scottie Dog with a red collar. He has a metal insert on his back for holding a small lighter - marked STRIKALITE LTD INC USA. The lighter is covered with a removable domed metal lid in bright red. There is a very small chip to the red enamel on the lid otherwise the figure is in excellent condition. It measures 3 inches in width by 2 1/8 inches in height. Please see enlargements for details.

c.1950 Beautiful two piece Brass colored spelter Pointer ashtray. This ashtray has a small glass ashtray that sits in a well in the hammered metal base of this spelter ashtray. Metal base measures: 4 1/2''H x 4''W x 4 1/2'' D. Glass insert is 2 1/2'' in diameter. Very little tarnish I would say that it is in very good condition.

Solid Brass Ashtray with two Setter type dogs. I am not sure if they are English or Irish but, they have beautiful detail. Size: 5 1/2'' Long x 3 1/2''wide. This ashtray is not marked but, I am sure it is old as it holds all the qualities of the older ashtrays.
