Early "whirley gig" type toy consisting of a wooden base, iron rod,and various colored discs.
Base is red with some discoloration (6 1/2").
Iron post is 12" and extends to 28 1/2".
Red/white "whirley's" are 2 3/4". They may be from another toy.
The 3 others which are solid colors on one side and striped on other side are 4".

This is an old family board game by the Traps Mfg. Co. Seattle, Wn. The Game of Traps is A Most Fascinating Home Game, which is played with four marbles and a game board that has little cubbyholes. Cardboard lid and game board, with wooden sides and tin cubbies or holes. The lithography, which is in very good condition, shows children playing the game on the front of the lid, and men and women playing golf on the game board.

Cute little 3-piece dining set for a dollhouse. The table and two chairs are made of wire and lithographed tin. The table is yellow with a plate of fruit on it, while the chairs are blue with roses and red with poppies. The table measures 1 1/2 inches by 1 7/8 inches and 7/8 inch tall. The chair seats are 15/16 by 1 3/16 inches. The table is marked JAPAN. Excellent condition.

A PAIR OF COLOR LITHOGRAPHED TIN FIGURES. A CIRCUS CLOWN and CIRCUS RIDER. Each figure is made of die-cut tin. The clown measures 2 1/4 inches in height and is in black and white with a suit having an all-over BIRD DESIGN. The rider measures 2 1/4 inches in height by 2 1/2 inches in width and is printed in black, white, red and yellow. Please see enlargements for condition. Probably date to early 20th century.

This is a wonderful albeit politically incorrect victorian children's playing card game called Happy Families. The antique card game is in it's original box featuring Master Tar the Seaman's Son on the front. The box measures 1 inch high by 4.25 long by 3 inches wide and has 35 cardstock cards and no suit marks making it a very early deck. The first was produced for the Great Exhibition of 1851.
