RARE 19th century brass childs rocking horse c1880. This wonderful brass horse has no foundry mark, but the former owner believed it to be French. She was an elderly lady who had played with it as a child in the 1930's. It had been passed down to her through her family. It measures 48 inches long by 36 inches high by 10 inches wide. This is a nice original Marx gravel mixer. It has never been messed with and is all original direct from a Chicago estate. Everything appears to be intact and the truck complete. As you can see there are some scuffs, scratches, and paint chips, but overall it is nice with no dents or major abuse. The gravel mixer is marked Made in USA with the Marx logo and the truck body is pressed with Made in USA. Wooden wheels are original and one has a flat worn spot. A fine and rare miniature replica of the radio flyer wagon which was a souvenir at the Century of Progress in the Chicago 1933 World's fair. The bottom of the wagon says, Souvenir A Century of Progress Chicago 1933. MFD By Radio Steel & MFG Co. 60141 W. Grand Ave., Chicago, USA Builders of young America's Finest Coaster Wagons.
