Wonderful tin, wind up toy of a cowboy on a horse. When the key is wound tight, the toy goes in circles bucking the cowboy. It is said the Paul Ernst Lehmann was taken with the early 20th century "Wild West" shows and modeled this toy after that. He is known for his detailed and mechanical toys. Condition is very good with some wear to the patent information under the rear hooves of the horse and a single tab is broken off of one side of the horses tail. This is the original release of the Big Bad Wolf from Disney Three Little Pigs Cartoon. It is in working condition. Minor production scratches but it has never been played with. It is in the Original Box that converts into a Pigs house. I purchased it 40 years ago and it was old stock then. I find conflictions in dates, but Linemar stopped tin toy production in the 50s and I believe this to be earlier. The box closed is about 4 1/4" tall.

The Little King was a comic strip character created by Otto Soglow in the early 1930s. This charming little walking king is probably from the '30s or '40's. He is made of wood with lithographed features, 4" tall and 2 1/4" across the base. He moves when you pull the little ring on the string coming out of his headgear. However I am sure he was meant to move more dynamically
because one can see remnants of dried up rubber band material on grooves on the spool which are his "feet". Condition of ... Click for details

This ca.1935 wind up is a delightful rendering of the traffic through the Lincoln Tunnel connecting N.Y.C. and New Jersey. It was made by Unique Art. The condition of the toy is about a 9 out of 10.
It has a few minor scratches.It is in full working order and the color is
very good. I have about 75% of the original box which can be restored (by someone with more patience and skill than I have).
