RARE 19th century brass childs rocking horse c1880. This wonderful brass horse has no foundry mark, but the former owner believed it to be French. She was an elderly lady who had played with it as a child in the 1930's. It had been passed down to her through her family. It measures 48 inches long by 36 inches high by 10 inches wide. Early 20th German (possibly Heyde) lead and tin figure standing on a sled leading a team of 4 huskies. The figure appears to be dressed as an Eskimo ca. early 1900's. A great piece for a winter scene or a Christmas layout. 5" at its longest and 2" at its tallest. The lead dog has a paint chip off the face(on the right side) ,the other dogs are excellent.The figure has a tiny paint chip on the face. The sled shows some paint wear.Despite these problems the figure presents very nicely.

This is an unusual small set of German, chromolithographed paper on wood, cube (1 1/2")blocks. They are in their original box (roughly 3"x 4")and have the original guide sheets. The condition and color is very good. There is minimal paper loss. All the scenes feature clowns performing tricks and some of the scenes include animals. C. 1900.

A vintage 1948 Denny Dimwit from the Winnie Winkle Comic Strip composition two way swayer with head and body moving in different directions that is 10" tall. It works well and stands on its own. This is a great old piece. He has some chips to his body, paint chipping, cracking, flaking and loss. He has some blotches of paint that don't look as if they belong. But, he's a solid piece and is almost sixty years old.
