This is an original WWII US ARMY AIR CORPS A-2 FLIGHT JACKET, size 40, worn by K. E. Holmes (his name written on the leather name tag right above the 9TH FIGHTER SQUADRON patch on the left side of the jacket. The 9th Fighter Squadron belonged to the 49TH FIGHTER GROUP, 5TH US AIR FORCE. The inside of the jacket has the original manufacturer label that specifies A.A.
