Rare collection (5 pieces) of pottery tobacco pipes used by the Rau/Brau people. These were acquired in Laos quite a few years. Most likely fired at the Yixing Kilns, in Jiangsu Province- the same place that made opium pipe bowls. These would date from late 19th century to first half 20th century- the ones with reddish clay being the oldest. They have some small chips consistent with old tribal pieces...

Published in 1926 by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin, this very rare, miniature-size, HARDCOVER book measuring just 4x5 inches, offers a very unique continuation of the original Little Black Sambo story! Measuring 10.25 inches wide by 7 inches high, this highly-colorful, mint condition, felt, American flag is actually a tobacco premium (free gift) which was awarded as a free bonus to tobacco buyers back in the day to encourage them to continue to purchase that particular brand!

The flag features 48 stars and is bordered with the stars and stripes as well as a Liberty Bell at each of the four corners.

The Flag is double-sided and looks fabulous when viewed from either side.

Hard to find in good condition Cobalt Blue Tea Canister. Measures 6" tall & 4-1/4" in diameter. The lid or cover is excellent condition There is a shallow, 1/4-inch chip on top of the inner rim and a smaller chip on other side of rim. Chips can be noticed in photos. There is also inner rim roughness flakes. No other damage or repairs.

Not much information is available on Star stoves, but they appear from time to time. This one retains its back piece - something of a rarity among these stoves. Also, some variants have a grated base plate, suggesting that this move was to save on materials costs...
