Antique, 19th century, Indo-Persian, Northern Indian, Islamic or Sikh shield Dhal of circular convex form with upturned rim, made of hand-hammered solid brass elaborately hand-chiseled with figures of various animals and humans among the profusely chiseled foliate patterns.

The front is set with a crescent moon and four domed bosses, affixed on the reverse by four ring bolts for straps (to hold the shield).

Antique 19th century American frontiers powder horn, made of hollowed–out horn of Bison/Buffalo with black painted oval wood base secured with small domed metal pins, fitted on the center with an iron loop for suspension. The mouth is with its timber stopper. 

CONDITION: Overall in fine condition with smooth toned grey-black surfaces, retains an untouched lovely aged patina. The suspension cord was a later replacement. The round black spot on the horn is left by a paper inventory sticke...

Antique, 18th century, circa 1750 AD, good quality Islamic Indo - Persian all-steel gunpowder priming flask.

The priming flask is made of several separate elements of hand-forged solid steel, a crescent shape swelling steel body made of two parts soldered together and fitted with a pierced steel base and spring cot. The tap fitted with a stylized bird over the nozzle.

Mounted with two pierced suspension loops and adorned with two elaborately shaped and pierced hinged panels.

A fabulous, vintage school teaching tool from the 19th Century! A red and gold painted wooden Alphabet or Spelling Board!

Measuring 13.25 inches wide x 9.25 inches high x 1 inch thick, this wonderful piece patented February 16, 1886, is in very fine condition with a warm, rich patina and color as well as all 56 of its original wooden letters! To spell a word, one slides the letters along cut out tracks in the board.
