The set was made by Weller in the 1920's. Florala was one of the prettiest of the Weller cream colored wares. Can't you picture the set with a bowl full of flowers and lighted candles as it would have been used in the 20's.
It is extremely hard to find a console set with all original pieces that have no damage or repairs. I bought this set from a lady who bought the set when new so all of the pieces have the same mold crispness and deep, original color...
Nice cockade for Luftschutz visor cap. Nice, even silver wash to the wreath with very gentle rub wear to the high relief of the oak leaves. Red felt center is complete. Multiple piece construction with pleasant, even patina on reverse indicating all pieces have been together as a unit for the duration. Nice example of a difficult piece of insignia to find.

Very interesting Imperial German regimental stein. This is an early one as the engraved inscription inside the lid is dated 1891. The engraving has the initials A.F. R.B. and is in memory of the fellow's service (I can't quite make out the exact words) and the date M. 21.6.91 (June 26, 1891. The ceramic bottom of the shell is made in the shape of an actual artillery shell and the top finial is in the shape of the fuse...
Jack London was a war correspondent for the San Francisco Examiner in 1904-1905. This is an original press photo. Rare. Black and White. Approximately 8 inches x 10 inches. The creasing throughout in no way diminishes this historical photograph. Jack London photographs seldom appear on the market. This is a well known photograph documenting his time during the Russo Japanese war. A great find. Thanks for looking!
Original black and white photograph of Jack London and Charmain in Honolulu in 1907. There are other images from this photo shoot, this one is unique from the others. This is inscribed "Snark Days in Honolulu". Possibly a press photo. Approximate dimensions 8 inches x 10 inches. The top of the photo is affixed to a board. This photo was part of a Jack London exhibit at a now closed Jack London museum in Oakland, CA. A rare find. Good antique condition. Good solid color...

A vintage 1960s Rosko Japan Hy-Que Speak No Evil mechanical steel and plastic battery operated monkey toy. This famous 17" tall toy has brightly lithographed metal parts and soft rubber hands and head with fur. The clothing is intact and in excellent shape as is the metalwork (it rates a visual C9 to us). The mechanism doesn't work, however the face does light up. The battery tray is clean with only minor stains and it is free of corrosion...
