The frontispiece is engraved and there are a total of ten wood-engraved plates, including the frontispiece. Foxing is throughout and the cover shows some wear with age.

Printed in Madrid in 1977, by Fomento Editorial, S.A. these two volumes depict much of the life of Christ, utilizing drawings, photos, and images of art produced through the centuries. The author is Luis Ortiz Munoz, and the two volumes contain 562+ pages, with a wealth of color photographs, many of paintings and sculpture depicting religious art. Each volume measures 12 1/4" x 9 3/4" and is bound in cream colored cloth with black lettering...

The book is printed on heavy, high quality, watermarked paper using arts and crafts printing methods by The Lincoln and Smith Press, Boston, for Davis and Bond, Boston, copyright 1912. The covers are cardstock. The book has 40 pages and comes in a matching envelope. Excellent condition, virtually unread. Unusual and hard to find original book.
Copyright 1949 and published by James Laughlin at New Directions Books, Norfolk, CT. The book is bound in tan burlap with a paste down printed label on the top right hand corner of the front board. Another printed label is also affixed to the spine. The burlap is splitting 3/4 of the way down from the front board; an endsheet may have been torn out and there is slight splitting between the paste down and the end sheet however, the book is tight/intact...
