Unstated first edition, written and signed by the author, Joe Mitchell Chapple. Published in 1924 by Chapple Publishing Ltd. Boston. Red boards with gilt lettering. Inscription includes a reference date December 3, 1924. Photos and letters.Boards show light wear- a nice tight copy. 386pgs.
This is the second of two volumes published by Riverside Press in 1882. An oversized, illustrated edition with ornate brown leather boards, gilt lettering, embossed design with gilt text block and marbled endpapers. One of the free papers has a small tear on the edge and the next two or three pages have very slight creases ( also on the edge). The boards show some wear at the corners but the book is in sound condition considering its age.
