Very bright and colorful and the back is blue and white printing advertizing Clark's pool cotton. It is in excellent condition with no bent corners. Not a reproduction, but the real thing! This unusual 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" souvenir postcard depicts "Knowles, Taylor and Knowles Pottery, East Liverpool, Ohio" [makers of Lotus Ware] and is also captioned 4567--PUBLISHED BY DAVIS & GOULD. On the back, a different notice names the maker as "A.E. PAPER & STATIONERY CO. MFRS. AYER, MASS." instead of the East Liverpool printer.
This card was postmarked on April 12, 1908 from East Liverpool and bears a green one-cent stamp...

This rare 5-3/8" x 3-3/8" full-color souvenir postcard depicts the "Pottery Building Newcomb College, / New Orleans, La." On the back is the stock number 10215 of "Grombach-Faisans Co. Ltd., Publishers, New-Orleans, La." In the stamp region are the words "Made in Germany."
There is a bit of chipping along the bottom edge, and on all four corners. Some blackening of the image at left and right, which may be ink from the printing process (?)...
