A wonderful chromolithographed VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS CARD. A folded card featuring an embossed design of a young girl holding two kittens with a large shaggy dog looking up at her. Printed in full colors and gilt. The card is bordered with an embossed design of forget-me-nots. Inscribed in ink on the inside: "Mamma To Clara" otherwise in excellent condition. The card measures (folded) 5 inches by 3 inches.

An original and unused 2oz box containing five unopened 1-pint envelopes of "sparkling granulated" Davis gelatine powder. This item was made circa 1960, or slightly earlier, and is complete with "free" recipe booklet.
Both items are in mint, unused condition.

This is a scarce large (14 by 10+ margins image size) engraving of William T. Sherman the famous Civil war general. It was printed in 1865 by publisher J.C. Buttre New York. His image is from a photo by George Barnard and the border design is by W. Momberger.The 3 border pics are Kennesaw mountain,Buzzards Roost and the Struggle for Atlanta. Large size engravings like this are very hard to find and the condition is excellent.We have it matted in a speckled cream mat.

BEATRIX POTTER PETER RABBIT "CARROT BISCUITS" BOX. Crabtree & Evelyn, 1994. A cardboard box originally housing Peter Rabbit-shaped biscuits or cookies (the cookies are no longer present). The box is printed in colors with scenes from Beatrix Potter's "The Tale of Peter Rabbit". There is a scene on each of the end panels; one on the back panel; two on the top flap; and (featuring) a die-cut flap of Peter on the front panel. The box measures 7" x 5" x 1 3/4". In excellent condition.
