This is a large wall map dated 1843 by Phelp's and Ensign a New York map maker before the Civil War.It is 26 by 38 and would have originally been a roll up wall map.It is currently framed in a simple wide black moulding under plexiglass as we found it. The map is in quite good condition other than some water staining to the top left corner and across the bottom of the map.
