Beautiful World Map by noted French cartographer, Dezauche. This map is quite large at 18" x 26" and nicely matted and framed in a custom gold-leaf frame which is much larger. The map displays the United States (only established a few years before the map) and explorer Capt Cook's tracts through the pacific. A search of dealer and auction records reflect a selling price of a similar map by Martayan Lan of $2500 for the map alone! It was at the time of this maps printing that the pacific northwes...
