LEWIS CARROLL. ADVERTISEMENT. Christmas, 1893. A single 8vo page with printed text on recto. Carroll expresses his annoyance to his readers that in the Sixtieth Thousand printing of Macmillan & Co's "Through the Looking-Glass" the pictures "have failed so much, in the printing, as to make the book not worth buying". He goes on to urge all holders of copies to return them to the publisher for a replacement. Measures 7 1/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches.

A very novel folded full color booklet with two pages that have been cut in strips in order to alter the images of the animals. Please see enlargements for details. Folded measurement is 6 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. MINT condition.

VICTORIAN TRADE CARD for J.&P. COATS' BEST SIX-CORD THREAD. Printed in pink and silver. The card depicts an EGYPTIAN SCENE with an IBIS in the foreground and PYRAMIDS and SPHINX in the background. There is a scuff mark on the reverse affecting some of the advertisement's text. Also, the right side of the card looks like it may have been trimmed(?). The card measures 5 3/4 inches by 3 3/4 inches.
