One Antique Leather Postcard postmarked 1906 and with a canceled stamp,from Utica, N.Y., and measuring 5 inches long by 3 1/4 inches high. This one says: 'I'm in a driving business', addressee is not readable. I have several of these leather cards and they all date between 1904 and 1908. They were banned by the U.S. Postal Service in 1909 so they were only made for a very short period of time. A nice color tinted real photo birthday greetings postcard of a beautiful girl in lace formal dress with hair band. Note pendant necklace. Postmarked on March 13, 1914 in Plainwell, Michigan and sent to Stark County, Ohio. In average condition with corner bumps, corner wear at top, corner crease lower left and small crease right center. A very presentable vintage postcard.
