Almost as though struck yesterday, this beautiful example of an ancient Greek silver stater depicting Pegasus and Athena (MAP 165) has only a few light surface scratches and a small amount of oxidation preventing the word ‘perfect’ from being freely applied. Purchased through a Harlan J. Berk auction by our discriminating consigner, the original Berk coin holder describes this as being from Corinth and dating into the 5th Period, 345-307 BC.
