Handsome corkscrews are wonderful to add to your collection or give as gifts. The purple one seems to have been well used from the looks of the faded PURPLE stain and inside of the barrel...perhaps the purple color is actually wine stained! I like that idea! The polished one seems to be olive wood...it has such handsome wood grain and is obviously hand carved,as there is a little carved swirl at the ends of the handles.
