Lovely pair of Steuben Frederick- Carder-era candlesticks in Amethyst glass. The lobed baluster form, with rolled base and candle cups edges, is design number 2956 as illustrated in "The Glass of Frederick Carder," page 161; circa 1920. 10 1/2" H.
A nice Verre de Soie vase with excellent coloring. The vase is shape 3143 and is 8 inches tall. The unpolished pontil bears a Steuben fleur de lys banner mark which is quite unusual for Verre de Soie pieces. There is no damage.
With the Kentucky Derby just around the corner, this goblet would be the perfect gift for the collector of equestrian memorabilia. The horse and jockey are encased in the bottom, "bubble," of the goblet.This type of goblet is referred to as caged glass and was produced by William Swingewood for Stevens and Williams. It measures 7 3/4 inches high. Perfect condition. It dates circa 1930.
A Steuben Ivrene fan vase, shape 7564, with vertical ribbing and scalloped rim on an ovoid form. This vase was made as a companion piece to the short Steuben candlesticks with the same shape number. The 5 5/8 inch tall vase is engraved “Steuben” on the bottom edge of the foot and the top is 6 1/4 inches by 4 1/8 inches. Pristine condition.
Twelve inch tall unsigned Nash Chintz vase. The trumpet vase is 5 ½ inches in diameter at the top and is pale bottle green decorated with green and pink. The foot has a rolled rim and a broken pontil mark.
Elegant Steuben Frederick Carder-era candlesticks. The dark amber candlesticks have tapering columns cut with florals. A downward curved, optic-rib candle cup completes the design. Circa 1920's. 10" H.
French blue opaline box with a hinged top. The tall form is cut into diamond patterns. Gilded and enamel florals dance about the form. A detailed, gilded mount completes the lovely design. Made in France circa 1920. 2 1/2" W., 4 1/4" H.
