Very fine sterling silver trumpet vase with a ruby glass liner. The vase's body is intricately pierced in an acanthus leaf motif to show the rich red liner. The undulating flared rim lends a slight Art Nouveau feeling to the overall look. The base is marked for the Watson Co.

Origin: America, 1905-29. Condition: excellent, all original, no damage to glass; there are a couple of small dings to the underside of the flared lip (easier to feel with the fingertips than to see)...

An unmarked but Arts and Crafts period bud vase with a square and austere silver plated base and a hand blown and pulled square glass vase insert with a flared neck c1890-1900. This vase measures 7/8" across the base and it stands 6" high; it has all of the handcrafted style expected in the Arts and Crafts European style of this era. We were informed that it probably came from Scotland originally...

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). The rosewood and sterling handles have a glorious design and the knives blades are iron(and have some rust). The handles are in excellent condition. The fork is marked "HA(stylized) 940 TAXCO 9(bellmark)...

Gorgeous set of 12 English sterling silver cocktail forks, the handles completely worked in basse-taille enamel. The enamel, in translucent shades of cornflower blue and turquoise, is elegantly accented with areas of exposed parcel-gilt silver. The sides of the silver handles bear full hallmarks for London, 1932 (the maker's mark is TS).

Set of 6 800 silver art nouveau figural small teaspoons, Germany, c.1900. Each shows a lovely woman's head with flowing hair in an art nouveau floral setting. The reverse represents the back of the head in a floral setting. Each spoon measures 4 1/2" long. They are signed "800 German marks star" on the back. Beautiful figural pattern showing north wind and dolphin head amidst classic art nouveau flowing design with very clear definition on each. Spoons measures 5 13/16" long and the bowl is 2 1/16" long by 1 1/4" wide. Each spoon is marked "UB STERLING 925 FINE". There is a fairly light monogram "L"(?) on each spoon that could probably be removed...

Set of 6 large 800 silver teaspoons from Roumania, c.1937. Sleek clean modernist design, they each measure 5 9/16" long and there is a slight gold wash inside the bowl. Each squared off bowl measures 1 3/4" long by 1 3/16" wide. They are each signed "R(in circle for Roumania)CROWN A(in soft triangle for .800 silver, 1937)" on the back with two other hallmarks in the bowl, that are hard to decipher. Very good condition but could use polishing...
