A Rare Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks from George Jensen, USA, designed by Alphonse LaPaglia. Dimensions; 5" high x 4" at the base; weight, 14.6 Troy ounces. Circa; 1941-1950. Excellent condition. Jensen USA was operated by Frederik Lunning during and just after the war, when merchandise from Denmark was unavailable. He was the director of Jensen Operations in the US. LaPaglia was one of the designers working with him.

Offered is this beautiful Fratelli Toso 'Starry Night' Murano art glass vase. The vase is 8 3/4 inches (22 cm) tall and 5 1/4 inches (13 cm) wide at the top. It is in excellent condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned, but guaranteed to have been made by Fratelli Toso (a similar vase is shown on page 90 of Leslie Pina's book, 'Italian Glass century 20' - shown in last two pictures here for your convenience).

An elegant sterling silver small letter opener in Kirk’s “Repousse” pattern. The wide end is beautifully decorated with a pattern of roses and foliage against a stippled background. The flat edge is marked off so it can be used as a ruler. The back is marked with the Kirk hallmarked used 1932-61.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, very light wear to the first few 1/16” makers on the ruler at the pointed tip. Weight: 26.5 grams.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1940s. It has an inscribed artist's signature, C. Werner, in the base. The figurine measures 11 1/4 inches high and 9 1/4 wide. It is beautifully modeled with fine details. The young, beautiful mother is assisting her infant to take his first steps. It has a classical elegance and yet a modern 1940s stylized look. The figures are realistically hand painted. Condition: Excellent.
