Pair of scroll back designed (originally collapsible) French cafe chairs, ca 1920's. Along with foldable cafe table of later date. Very graphic chairs with strong back design and grid seats. Chairs 37" high, 17" deep, 19" wide; seat height 18". Fold up table approx. 30" diameter. Seats have dented center front section.

This large hand carved marble stone hitching post is measured 55" tall, 9" wide and 9" long. We have two of the same hitching posts in stock; they came in a pair but can be sold separately. Each weighs approx. 280 lbs. This traditional northern Chinese hitching post was used to tie horses for wealthy families. Often erected in a large courtyard, these decorative hitching posts in a pair are usually positioned on opposite side of the courtyard...
This lovely pair of hand carved stone foo dogs (lion statues) came from an old courtyard which likely belonged to a business man's family compound in He Bei province. Often seen in front of the entrance gate, these foo dogs guard against evil spirits and keep the wealth from flowing outside of the house. Size: 10" x 7.5" x 20" tall.
This lovely hand carved Guan Yin and a child stone statue is made out of untreated marble. Guan Yin is the Goddess of compassion, when seen with a child, it's the symbol of fertility. This large stone statue made of one single piece of unpolished marble stone is hand carved by local artisans in northern China's He Bei province for the exclusive usage of a local Buddhist temple. Size: 21.5" wide by 8.5" deep by 28" tall. Weight: 240 lbs. The Buddha is in meditating mudra with his legs crossed.

This beautiful hand carved stone Buddhist Monk statue is measured 8.5" wide and 16" tall. This piece came from our three-piece collection which was obtained from HeBei region of China. Gilded statues are often signs of that the piece came from a temple, the golden paint would have been re-applied on a regular basis to show respect to the Buddha. The Chinese Buddhists believed Buddha and his deciphers often wear golden leaved clothing. Shipping weight: 45 lbs.
