An unusual French Art Deco cocktail pick set featuring a stylized snail carved from beautifully-grained macassar ebony. The snail has a very unusual streamline aerodynamic appearance and colorful phenolic ornaments on the antennae. The set is completed with an ebony and bakelite "basket" holding chrome cocktail picks with multicolored phenolic heads.

A mid century Japanese Biraki Kimono Tansu (chest with hinged doors) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) Wood. Two large hinged doors open to a set of three Kimono trays. Side handles used for carrying the tansu from place to place. Front door plates feature Paulownia flowers and leaves.

A nice mid-century modern French cocktail pick set featuring a blonde wood stylized snail with a chrome shell. He's perched on a set of chrome leaves that hold the six chrome and plastic-topped cocktail picks. Cocktail pick holders ("porte-piques") were once a fixture of every French bar and café. They can be used to spear olives or cherries for cocktails or to serve small hors d'oeuvres.
A picture is worth a thousand words. This High Victorian lacy silvered metal frame has a twig-form border covered with flowers and foliage standing on two feet. Measurements: 9 in. high x 4 in wide; This frame has character, crack to one foot does not not affect balance, minor rust, wear to silver on back. This is a pretty way to display a loved one, a perfect baby or confirmation gift.
Vintage circa 1960's wood jewelry or trinkets footed casket, stamped on bottom Made in Italy, 7" high by 5 1/2" high by 4" wide. There are two drawers in which to place treasures and small items. There is a lot of gilt painted area with incised fleur de lis type designs and other diamond-shaped designs. There is wear on the knobs and in a number of other places, which contribute to a feeling of antiquity.

This is a really great Depression Glass Pink Oil Lamp Base with Clear Globe. This Oil Lamp has a working burner that turns the wick up and down. The burner appears to be original. This vintage Oil Lamp is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple small pieces of residue in the glass lamp base which was done in the making and common with the old glass.
