This pair of club chairs that we call Bern Cinema Clair have an rather light tone which is unusual for a pair as old as this. Circa late 1930's, this pair was surely inspired by Jacques Emil Rhulmanns' famous Elephant Club chair. This styling kind of opened the floodgates to more dramatic expression with the form of most French leather Club chairs from that point on. DESCRIPTION: A handsome pair of walnut wood Neoclassical style carved and stained candle prickets with circular tops above turned, tapered and fluted shafts with leaf tip ornaments, above swelled bases with splayed feet. Italian, 20th century; silver and gilt highlights on each. Unmarked, good condition. DIMENSIONS: Overall height 25.25".

Pair 2 lights gilded metal Sconces with gold beaded shades, 18 1/2" high, 13" wide, 8" deep, with imitation glass prisms. Oval mirror-4 1/2" high, 4" wide in the center accented with gold beaded shades on metal frame-4" high, 3 1/4" diameter on the bottom of the shade. The condition is in good working condition, no damage.

This is a lovely vintage Lenox powder box signed with the green Lenox mark. There is a pink bird that sits atop the lid. It measures 7" wide x 6 1/4" high and is in perfect condition.
