This is an vintage authentic 2 section kimono chest called Kamo Tansu that measures 68.5" high by 46.25" wide by 17.75" deep.Constructed of 100% Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) with a Mulberry (Kuwanoki) wood trim, its solid wood design will provide generations with functionality and beauty. It was made in the Niigata region of Japan and high quality Paulownia wood from the mountains of Aizu was used.
It has a secret compartment built-in to the small drawer on the left...

This is a 2 section stacking Japanese chest called Kamo Kimono Tansu that measures 68.13" high by 47.68" wide by 17.75" deep. . It was entirely constructed in thick Paulownia wood (Japanese Kirinoki). Because this is high-end tansu, removing the bottom drawer in the lower section, there is a secret compartment, also removing the middle drawer on top section, you can lock 2 drawers on the both sides. Its age is from late 1900's.

Pair of sturdy cast iron urns with upsweeping arms and lids. Urn body has classical motifs - blowing face encircled by dolphins. Lids have roundels on their surrounds with heads with olive wreaths reminiscent of ancient coins. Each stands 48" high and 29" wide. Origins unknown. In excellent condition.
